I noticed he actually was cutting the flag with the knife, and that was the US one.

He was most likely cutting off a piece of the rope.

Quite frankly I believe he was justified. I'm sorry but that guy didn't exactly seem unware that what he was doing was offensive.

There are central laws pertaining to the treatment of our flag, and I 100% agree with them and would of done the same thing.

I have a lot of sympathy for the Mexican undocumenteds, but this was not very smart of them . . ( assuming that one of them did it and not someone wanting to stir up trouble . . a distinct possiblity )

They want to make inflammatory statements, they should expect responses! Honestly, I would have done the same thing - maybe a little more interaction with the bar owner though.
