Woot, no internet taxes for a few more years.

Actually, I should have said "taxes on internet access" to be more accurate.
Too bad the republicans couldn't make it permanent.

Taxing cigarettes, taxing internet, what's next, someone gonna propose with a tax on fat people and a tax on air so we can drop more bombs and enable more buearacrats?

No actually, the dems control the house and senate.
Some republicans tried for a permanent ban on internet taxing, but couldn't get enough support.

Re: Woot, no internet taxes for a few more years.

Any "permanent" ban is only permanent until the next congress is sworn in...Republican grandstanding...

"See we tried to make it permanent but those tax and spend liberals want to raise your taxes the very next chance they get."

Politicians - don't ya just love 'em.
