Above Average Hurrican Season.............. NOT!

A prediction from April 17 named storms
Update from August 13-16 named storms

And now this

Nice predictions. Looks like 2005's record scared the "experts" enough into making two years worth of bad predicitons.

And remember all the hurricanes they predicted for 2006 ?
How many did we get ? None

So much for the Global Warming "experts"...........
Yea, we're "going to get a lot more intense hurricanes" because of Global Warming !!!

Now watch, the next terrible hurricane we'll have (which is inevitable), you can guess what they'll be preaching..... Global Warming !!! As if we haven't had terrible hurricanes before.......

Re: Above Average Hurrican Season.............. NOT!

I guess it is perceived better to predict lots of storms that don't happen, instead of not predicting storms that do. This way people are cheered by a 'lucky escape'.

Hooray! A sudden over prediction as to the number of hurricanes means we can all rest easy about Global Warming!

This two year trend will speak for AGES to come, and it means we should suddenly cease all operations to find out what we might be doing to the environment!

Forget if we're wrong about this, it could mean the end of human civilization as we know it, and if steps are taken to reduce global warming and we turn out to be right, we all have cleaner air!

Who wants cleaner air anyway? Screw that!

So it's ok to say that this is the start of a trend, not a part of one. Recorded History is a small part of the overall history of the planet.

It does not excuse us from trying to protect the environment, it means that those that try to scare us with their predictions have to find another way to get their message across.

I certainly do.
Nothing would make me happier than a planet with just safe Nuclear Fusion plants, and elecric cars. It would solve many problems for everyone.

On the other hand, I'm really getting irritated by the almost religious "Global Warming" Hype. Whenever scientists find mistakes and holes in climate "experts" predictions, much of the news media ignores it. Or when global warming "experts" make predictions that turn out wrong (over and over), they don't admit their mistakes (nor does most of the news media).

There are extremists on both sides, fearmongers and head-in-sanders both.
