Australia should have more Elections

The reason I say this is because we will be getting a nationwide fiber optic broadband system regardless of the outcome of the election.
The current Government (Liberal Party) did a costing on the project and said it was to costly to implement. The Opposition (Labour Party) said they will implement it if they win Government.
The government are way behind in the polls and are facing defeat and now have decided to implement it as well

Re: Australia should have more Elections

I don't think I could stand seeing more of the pollies on tv though. Every time you turn it on you see one or the other picking at the other party. Maybe just the threat of an election would be enough?

I thought the conservatives were in charge. Are you telling me the guy who said something to the effect of voting for John Kerry would be a win for the terrorist is in the "Liberal Party"?

They use the correct definition of liberal in Australia and Europe. We've changed it here in the States.

Liberals are anything but liberal in America.
