I can't prove that 'God' doesn't exist, but then I can't prove that there is not a blue fairy in the shape of a donkey, at the bottem of my garden. And you can't prove there is a 'God'. There is no reason for there to be a 'God'.

But hey, you believe the bible, about creationism? That's fine with me - as long as you believe the world is flat too.

But how can you push away evidence which proves evolution, and believe something someone you don't even know, made up millions of years ago who says they spoke to 'God', which was probably just a fairy tell they wrote down and called the bible?

And if 'Adam and Eve' was true, and insest is wrong, what the heck?

I just don't see how you can have faith in something, there is no prove of, or 'signs' of. (some of the things people come up with that they think is sign is crazy! Sorry, not some, all!)

I don't get made at those that believe in evolution... I don't get mad at those that believe in creationism...

Its what you believe, its what you see as true.

Me personally... I believe god created us thru evolution, the universe by the big bang... the timeline of the bible is definatly flawed but what ever... thats what faith is about.

But who is to say what that image is, who is to say that his image isn't one of big hairy ape who stretches his ***. Sure the avg christian would completely disagree with me. But who said it has to be in the image of what we think it is.

I believe in big bang theory, I believe thats how god created the universe with the big bang. I believe that god created "man" which most likely is what we call ape nowadays.

Public schools that teach evolution IMHO are doing the right thing.

I believe if you follow a motto like that your sitting yourself and society for a big slap in the face. Questioning everything is how we obtained all. If you didn't question your life at some crossroads such as getting a job where would you of gone. If you wouldn't of asked the question "DO I want to do this?" "why do I want to do this" then where would you be.

I believe blind faith in anything is stupid, everything needs to be questioned regardless of how true it may seem.

BTW I believe in god, I believe he gave his only son to clease our sins etc etc. I do not believe the MAN written book is 100% his words. THEREFORE I don't put 100% of my faith in it.

Also the Dail Lama said once to a scitentists when the scitentist asked "If I could prove to you that there was no god what would you do" The Dail Lama said "I'd dissonance the aspect of god in my relegion, and say that god is not real, now can you prove to me god is fake"

Scitentist said "No"

Ok, I respect that point of view. So you agree that what is said in the video, is stupid, but you believe in 'God', but as your OWN personal belief, you know, I much prefer that, that someone just following what they are told, and having no point of view of their own.

I do not believe earth is a few thousand years, I do not believe man lived with dinsours, I do not 100% believe in creatism, nor evolution i am more of a intelligent design, that god set it up but he did not actually do it himself. I believe evolution has its merit so does creatism, but niehter one overwhelms me.

We had this debate in our debate class had quite a few interesting points. One of which was sure god created the world, and cosmos in 6 days, but whats a day to god? Is a day 24 hours or is it 7 million years or 2 billion years.

When god said let their be light who on earth said it meant the sun? Why could it not of have been the big bang.

When god created man out of dust who said that it was not just a chemical reaction, and took millions of years.

I am one to take the bible figuratively, not literary as the poeple in the video take it. It will not see me on a stage seriously denouncing creationism or evolution for both have their merits and I myself believe a combo of the two is what really happened.

Well, TBH, I think creationism is just trying to find reasons for things, without actully bothering to find out the facts.

Creationism is simply a way to introduce Biblical teaching into the public schools. That is the goal. They (the Evangelicals) don't really care about science. They think they see a place to stick their foot in the door and they're exploiting it to the extreme.

Why are they doing so? They're not as dumb as their sheep. They know that if they came right out and said, "We want to change the whole curriculum to such-and-such." (read: whatever the preacher of the moment say it should be) people might actually see through the smoke screen.
