If I were moderating these threads all points of view would be allowed, unless they became criminalistic; it's called "freedom of speech". Whether you're a Communist, Nazi, or anything inbetween, everyone has a point of view.
I felt neccesary to bring this up because I've had people place words in my mouth, try spinning the subject, support me, and now try to silence me.
I've put up with it all, because that happens in debate and I have a spine.

I'll drop the thread "The Democratic Party = Socialist Party" (I guess I have no choice), but mind you Yustr, trying to silence what I'm saying shows something about yourself.

In my lifetime, I've heard people say more "offending" things than this. People talking about assasinating the president, spitting on U.S. soldiers, calling Americans "terrorists", etc.... But no matter how annoying it was, it was their right. You see, that's what separates people who respect freedom and democracy from those who don't....

But, for all I know, this server or the owners might be Communist Chinese, or some other repressive government.

Anyhow, adios, it's been fun up til now.

Freedom of speech is very limited to its' freedom now-a-days. They require us to conform to them and in turn they don't want us saying anything. It's kind of like an article I read about how New York has/is trying to ban the "N" word and how they've already denounced GTA 4 just because it is set in NY. Don't get me wrong the game will most likely give a few bad impressions but it's not like there's no other games set in NY. ie: True Crimes: New York City. This world just doesn't know how to relax. They're all stressed and it's because their actions make them stressed. I feel the ol' saying mothers use to tell us "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" SHOULD be placed in effect. Though we have a right--or use to-- to say anything at all, all this world needs is constructive criticism not abrupt people with mouthfuls of angst and hostility.

The thing is Cstr is that the Government shall not infringe on a persons freedom of speech not TSF shall not infringe.

Its part of the moderators job to keep order on the forums and stop flame wars and such... I didn't see any but its how they decide, its up to them.

Don't take it personally you have a varying points of views on the boards... one locked thread should not disuade you from continuing to post. Plus its TSF there is more to it then a political side to it, come over to offline and post there to, unwind and such make jest at other people and threads... besides I believe you should be next in line for the doctors anyway

Take some more argumentation classes cstr because you need them. IMO You fail to support your stances with concrete ideas. Having a spine is no substitute for having a brain, and until you can focus more energy to applying the latter to your post and threads you don't need to be pointing at red herrings as an excuse to criticizes the forum.

Hate to lose you cstr. I enjoyed our frequent disagreements because you were always an easy target. Un-prepared, un-informed, you never failed to lighten my lousy mood at the end of a busy day. bye.
