A prince in combat

Despite warnings the military gives a thumbs up.

Yeah but I think it holds special significance when you're fighting an Asemetric war with most of the casualties being infantry. Or did he already sign up before the War?

I think he signed after it had started but don't quote me. But like I said before... why would anyone join the military when your country is fighting a war especially say the army/marines instead of the AF or Navy?

You just can't tell... perhaps thats where he thinks he can do the best, or uses what skills he knows the best?

And being an Officer in any branch doesn't garantee you will not be in forward area. Jr. Officers get passed around like a cheap ***** at a bachelors party.

So many poeple acuse of him of being a party boy reckless and etc.

But come on, we any of us any different at that age? **** i'd think he'd be a awesome dude to hang out with.

And I respect his decision to serve his country, its a job that man are fearful of doing cause they don't have the guts to do it.

Re: A prince in combat

His helmet reads "Wales". I reckon this is in absence of a surname?

Re: A prince in combat

What is his surname? I thought it was Windsor or Mountbatten

Yes, this is what I thought, and I found it sounding very funny - to be surnamed a country.

It seems he only has first names (Henry Charles Albert David), and he's called "Prince Henry of Wales".

I can't imagine how his trainer in the Army calls him.

Re: A prince in combat

Relates to behavior, perhaps? Hopes of being rescued by Greenpeace?
