Iraq's economy BOOMING
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16241340/site/newsweek/
Even PMSDNC admits it. The economy is booming despite the fact that the torturous oppressors are oppressing... Somehow Iraqis are experiencing economic freedoms like they never have... sorry John Kerry, who by the way served in Vietnam, you are wrong. We have not destroyed a country, rather we have fixed it. Cite the violence all you want, a booming economy it a great sign. But who am I to disagree with John Kerry, he served in Vietnam. |

No where to go from the bottom than up. You'll see a boom with any country that has sanctions suddenly lifted. And besides that it's a socialist state over there; we're paying for so many jobs it's not funny.

So you are one of the rational ones who thinks they are better off now than under Saddam... But I agree with you. Mark this date on your calendar. Dec. 18 me and 40s agree on something

Jeff I'm determined not to agree with you. Economically Iraq is better under the US (I think the billions of American tax dollars being pumped in the country has something to with it however) but as far as quality of life goes... I don't know.

I think I have figured something as to why it is so rough in Iraq. It is like a person who has had a tumor for a long time. Pretend it is operable. We have just cut the tumor out, that is Saddam. Now that the tumor is out, there is room for infection - someone else wants the space formerly occupied by Saddam. In this case America wants freedom, freedom is like the best cure, but it is painful, we must put alcohal and all kinds of disinfectants, to ensure nothing bad gets in. The terrorists can just go in, but they are another tumor, but they cause no pain right now.
The Iraqis don't want us because we are causing them the essential pains, and the insurgents are causing little - they are so similar to Saddam, that they fit right in - evil and all. I know that my medical description is horrible, but that is not what matters, just think about my analogy. PS- There is a reason why I will never be a doctor PPS - We could have agreed 40s, this would have been a national holiday, you wrecked it...

The tumor was benign and the surgeon will be feeling the chemo as well, but that makes sense.

So a few hundred thousands lives is worth making the rich richer and the poor poorer?
What a sad time we live in! Not everything should be given a price, including lives of innocent people. Tell the poor of Iraq that its great to live there while car bombs are killing them while American and British contractor are lining their wallets. So nice, i feel so proud! How much has been spent by American and British goverments to do this? |
