That would suck to grow up without a father. That's a hell of a decision you're making for that kid when you do that knowing a father won't be there; it seems kind of selfish to me.

I was thinking about that, what if the child wants to learn to hunt? No Dad for that, and I doubt Grandpa going to be allowed with a gun anywhere near the child...
