George Galloway has spoken out in support of Lebanon, saying he believes Hizbollah is justified in attacking Israel. The Respect MP also lambasted media coverage of the war and said the UN resolution means nothing.

Ends don't justify means. So what if Hezbola's aim is freedom, if their means is killing civilians and committing needless acts of violence.

this whole scene is unreal...as best I can tell from what's been said, this all started over the kidnapping of 2 soldiers....soldiers (who were probably being XXXXXX)...if Israel had even gone so far as to kidnap 2 officials and executed them in the streets that would have been OK by me...but this is [b] ABSURD...

as best I can tell this whole schmeel has made me totally antiZionistic..sure, the Jews were given grant by God to commit genocide after the 40 years in the desert so that they could move into their promised land, but it seems to me from reading the Bible that they kinda fell out of grace and then the diaspora occured...hence they lost their land (in a much gentler way than they acquired it), basically fair and square (if such a thing can happen in world conquest)...they were 'given' it back by some politicians...whoopdy doo...if I was a Palestinian and had to deal with the cr@p they do I would be pissed also...I mean really, how would you feel being forced to observe cerfews in your own land???
