Ok, that is stupid. If you really wanted peace, you would have no religon at all... If I can't persuade you to stop believing, and you get annoyed if I try, then it would be exactly the same with this situation. Why don't you just let each other believe what you want.

In my opinion, most wars start due to beliefes. One person says this, the other says he is wrong, then they start fighting. This is what happens all the time, especially with cival wars.

it worked so well in the Crusades, you know?
Keep using God for political gain, really.
When God has been politically exploited for all religion is worth, it will prove that God combined with poor politics still results in poor politics.

ohh yeah..lets Really give them a reason to hate us..

this is why religion sucks..i myself remain a moderate hindu at best..

religion MAY help you deal with things..or whatever..but under that guise it clouds your view of the world..

we would be better off if the US stopped trying to westernise the whole world and stayed within it's continent...

ppl chose islam over chirstianity or vice versa..becuse it fits thier needs..what right does this overzealous bible-weilding fruitcake have to say "no your needs are different.here do it the rich anglo-saxon way"

He is probably just playing to his base. Kind of like how Howard Dean spews off to pander to the left wing moveon wackos.

I like the editorial. I do shop at Wal-Mart and listen to the AM radio.
