Hi,

Does anyone believe this bunch of BS?

Kerry on Mideast conflct: 'If I was president, this wouldn't have happened'...

First off, I'm no fan of Kerry. He was a poor choice. And he was a poorer candidate. That said, please provide at least a link so that comments such as that one can be taken in context. Here's an article CLICKY

In addition to the blatantly simplistic unsupportable opening statement, he said:

"The president has been so absent on diplomacy when it comes to issues affecting the Middle East,"...and

"This is about American security and Bush has failed. He has made it so much worse because of his lack of reality in going into Iraq.…We have to destroy Hezbollah,"

So his point is that as President, he would have paid more attention to things going on in that part of the world - other than Iraq - than did Mr. Bush.

Would he have? Who knows? Who cares?

What is clear that the second part of the equation (how much attention Bush has given it) approaches zero so nearly any attention paid would make that true. But, as usual, he (Kerry) can't just come out and say it.

Hi 40,

I always win if you didn't know it. I win because this is America and I can express my opinions and rants in an open and free society and get the respect all of us deserve simply because we are Americans.

Frankly, I even respect what Yustr says and we just don't agree on too much. However, as a free American, he also has the right to express his views and have them respected, even if I disagree.

Yep, all of us are pretty lucky to live in a free America. We are truly blessed. Hope the both of you have a great day.

The part that yustr forgets to point out is that this is just another in a series of Bush bashing that the liberals seem to favor.
