It's a Mind Game, one that is designed to test the limits and the abilities of Forum Mods and Administrators. It could also be called "Limits Testing", and electronic off-shoot of a physical requisite for success.

If you can follow my leaps, and Orders of Magnitude, and my exponential expressions (meaning when I say something about exponential growth, I mean I understand what I am talking about. It also means that if I know this and you do not, I am smarter than you and you should do what I say otherwise it's possible you will make a mistake and something bad will happen.

What happens when countries are run like small, profit-motivated corporations ? When times are good, the country steals from it's neighbor. When times are bad, it steals from it's citizens.

The was a reason for travel to Europe. It was about establishing routes of power, with treasure expected on return. Sometimes those jewels represented kingdoms. Whoever owns the jewels owns the kingdom.

How likely is it that, out there, somewhere, there isn't some jewel floating out there, deep in some landfill, waiting to be dug up by the rightful heirs to the throne ?

Better we erase all memory of their existances, lest they be used against us after the fruits of our crimes have grown into miles upon miles of lush verdant profit-makers, and knowledge of the means by which we have acquired their existance must be over-written with happier means of our ascension.

We have Risen by Conquest, it is Our Right, since the promise of Man was made to him, by himself.

If you can argue this with God as the originator of the Promise, you can get them to let you do whatever you want.

Today I was pontificating my belief in the the idea of the "one-ness" of time, but the wheels fell off the cart when I realized that I didn't understand one component of the equation.

Also, when purchasing material goods of any sort that are made on a production line, it is important to consider the time period in which it was produced. Sometimes they lie, and print labels that make them appear more profitable than they really are. EVGA's fans are one good example of knowing WHEN the fan was installed will indicate if it's a defective/inferior one or not.

Also makes you kind of wonder whatever happened to the guy that made THAT decision.

"Hey ! I gotta GREAT idea ! Let's install REALLY cheap and inferior fans on our video cards, and then not build into the card some means of self preservation, if in the event of a fan stopping permanently.

You could open a gateway for access, so that software could touch it in ways that would allow "healing" software to come in, and teach the video card how to turn itself off when it overheats, AND there is not CPU fan return RPM, or it is too low. Every time the Video Fan speed falls below a certain level longer than a certain length of time, a counter registers something, there is a log entry, whatever.

So yeah. Who at EVGA decided to do that. Or did they ?
