Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v

Now that's what I am talking abou! that ther is a great little link JTP. I think I have alway be an outlaw or a black sheep in a lot of way, I don't fit into a standard mold.

Well east bound and down, loaded up and truck'en........
We're going to do what say it can't be done......!
We got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'am east bound, and watch old bandit run.......!

Hay Sandy some one from another forum suggested I take a small radio and place it close by where the dog sleeps and it would stop the dog from howling. Might try that if I can found a small radio and put it on a timer.

Hay got a call from TGI Fridays today, wanted me to come play some of them old songs under there outside cover for two nights, Drinks, meal and a little bit of cash for me. I told them meal and cash would be good but the drinks need to be coffee, tea and water.

Hay werebo, I am taking my guitars. Though I would take my chassical and Yama-aa-aa electric with me. and use the sound effect beats on a small electric organ I have. One of a few things that bankrupticy didn't get. Thought I would play and sing a few old ballads, some eagles, three or four love songs, maybe some blue brothers, one or two elevis and Beatles. Got any suggestions that they might want. Its time like this I wish I had a good DVD or CD record that is portable. They supply a mic and PA sys.

Man I tell you what I

Well, as you're in Alabama, there's always the ol' favourite: 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lyrnrd Skyrnyrd, that should keep some of them happy - It always keeps me happy when I hear it

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v

Now there is some good one's. Now that might work! I'll be playing to anything from 18 yrs on up. A lot of people from Ft. Rucker which is the Nations Helicopter training center for most of the Mil., Some good Bikers, scared about family types. Folks that just want to drink a bit and laugh and relax. while having a meal. It a nice not to wild group of people. When I do that I have to wear a different cap but Just do my thing and let it all hang out. Now Marshall Tucker. Dobbie Bros,Steve Miller-- can do !!! but Molly Hatchett, Guess Who, and Jackson Browne haven't got the voice for it and my fingers, well don't seem to have enought of them. Thought I would get Sandy and Charlotte to be my GoGo Dancers!!!

Ther is a House in New Orleans, They call the Rising Sun..................
Werebo ther is one song that I have been chasing around for quit some time, I thought it was fair good called "Martain Boggie" by Brownville station but I can't get my hands on it.

Do you mean this one? ' Martian Boogie - Brownville Station'?

It sounds rather reminiscent of George Thorogood

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v

Hello, all.
I'm still alive, but right now that's about it. PT after the car accident was going OK until a week go. Then I started having problems again. As of last Monday afternoon I can only work at my computer 2 to 3 hours before I have to lie down. I can mouse around a bit longer, but can't type very long.

I had an MRI yesterday evening, and Med Imaging gave me a copy of the images. Last night I found an image of a normal c-spine and one with a herniated disk. If I'm reading my images right, I have at least two, and possibly 3 herniated disks. In one view there's a spot that looks like there is no space for spinal fluid between the disk bulge and nerve bundle. I also looked up some info on c-spine surgery and am not as afraid of it as I was.

DC, congrats on finding a friend. I'm sure you two will have many happy dog walks together. I agree with taking it slow, but she sounds like a good person to talk with. Also congrats on your music gig. They can be lots of fun. My hubby always asks the management if he can have a tip jar. Usually he doesn't get much in it, but once in a while he gets $50 or more.

Gotta go lie down for a bit. I probably won't be able to pop in here much over the next month or so, but I do think of you here at TSF every day.

Sadly, it only streams as fast as either your connection or the servers at t'other end. What I usually do with a slow stream, is to hit the 'pause' button as soon as the clip starts, them leave it to download until it's finished - then hit the 'play button', the whole thing plays continuously then.

Try this for the 'Martian Boogie' lyrics Lyrics

Hi gistek I didn't know you were involved in an accident! I hope you get plenty of good advice before you have your back operated on. Obviously I don't know how bad it is and I am not qualified but some times (depending on how bad it is) it can improve with rest and physio therapy. I hope you improve and become pain free a bad back is no fun.

Hi DJ I hope your going OK long time no see

Hey DC give that cold a shake life is out there waiting for ya and Handsome is waiting at the door for ya Charlotte would love to be your Go Go girl but I don't think I would very good
