I quite like Holly Hunter as Director Shephard in NCIS, she makes a good counterpoint to Jethro Gibbs - apart from Abbie, not a lot of women in the series can do that

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
I kinda got into NCIS lately. The cast is really lively and their interactions is the real showcase of the show.
anyone think that in CSI Miami Haritio can kill anyone without hesitation and everyone would be fine with it? He always shoots someone in the head and never in the knees or something more reasonable? |

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
Your right there, it may get interesting. We will have to see how grism does as director of the show now to. <> Boy My sugar took a down turn this morning, 55 & 35, but it as been setting at 100 the rest of the day.
Mcninjaguy, that is a very interesting picture. We have a paint ball park about 6 miles from here that is very much like the jungle with swamps, woods, and fields. It has 50 aers of land. They stay busy over their. They also have a indoor target range for the real thing.

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
That gun above isn't paintball its shoots BB's
they like paintballs but about 1/8 the size and they don't explode on contact. The gun 1:1 realistic looking snd just as heavy to a M4 Carbine and its fully automatic shooting around 800 bb's a minute. its an electric feeder. you can put on sei auto or full automatic too The magazine holds around 350 BB's and you buy real scopes and a laser for the BB gun |

I'm wondering if Horatio's turning into a "Dexter" type character. If so, he's not nearly as good at covering his tracks. I'm looking forward to what happens when someone figures out what's happening. I don't think he'd have much difficulty offing Greg, but what if it's Callie?

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
Hay Sandy, I have been one very busy man today. Got out in the shop and fix the screen door for the shop, it was separating and would not allow the door th close right so I put new hinges on it,screen and a shell screen to prevent the dog from tearing the small stuff. Then I worked on my work station for my room. I might be able to start staining it next week if it does not get to cold. And now I am studying my Visual basic programming which I hope I can get into the next steep HTML 4.0 in a few weeks. You know I have been wanting to learn this stuff and, now I can. Be glad when I can show off a little bit by doing animation graphic and website stuff.

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
Sorry to hear about your brother. Our next door neightbor has had one and it was bad. It seems like there is alway something isn't it. Micosolf has a free training program in Visual basic and VB 2008 Express is free to download.
Well let me count my pennies, Circuit City is going out of business and they have cut every thing with a 30% discount and I want to get me another keyboard that lights up so I can work in the dark and the folks want bug me. And I have to test again. See you later gator!

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
Hi to all...DC your disc is in the mail. As I was addressing the envelope, my computer said "Goodbye"
![]() So I am cringing... can it be just a dial-up hiccup ? I hope so, but I doubt it I attempt to sign on again and the little aol man just sits on the first step, dialing. Well this can't be good. Sure enough, I have temp disconnected phone. AM SO MAD AT MYSELF EVERYONE NEEDS TO BAN ME! I put money on my pre-paid card to use for phone bill and procrastinated too long. Now that same amount isn't going to be sufficient and won't reinstate phone till whole bill taken care of. Oh well, it's my own fault. I have become pretty good at getting these matters caught up. Harold doesn't offer to pay for my little activities so I just assume its up to me to figure it out. With no babysitting pay for over a year and no apt. mgr. THAT was tough hanging in there. At least I have a little starting to roll in from our apt. owner. Course before the first pay received, I had already spent in December and well, don't want to go on and on bout that junk. New solution, run phone line to daughters and tap in LOL...she said ok. Now getting close to time for aol to smack me down. Well holy cow, last time I ran the line to her apartment I think the apt owner had a spool of phone line I used. This time went to kmart but they only had 50 footers......gunna need (my estimate) 4-5 hundred feet. Radio shack wanted almost $20 for 100. I am not willing to accept that is what it will cost so elected to wait for road trip to walmart. Jackie let me plug in to her phone tonight when she went to bed.. Bob, Jackies roommate and I tried to quietly run the cord through her bathroom and out the window. I go upstairs to throw rope down to tie on cord and pull up. Harold is sleeping so try to be VERY QUIET...now EVERYONE knows that when you are trying to be quiet, anything and everything that has never caused anytime of noise whatsoever will, squeek, clunk, crash, bump and light up. Harold wakes up..."NOW what are you doing, again, still?"...I say nothing, couldn't find the phone cord coupler. Go out the door, Bob is coming up w/my cord and I can see that clearly it's not gunna make it up the stairs and all the way to my bedroom. . Bob gets line out window and I pull it to my corner of building, gunna tie it on the rope and I can see its not long enough to make it up to my window and in.............shoot!! So back up and tip toe in...door squeek...crab! Sit here for a while and splice together 3 normal phone cords. Back out the door squeek...... Splice all that mess to the main phone line and back up the stairs squeek...... Hoist it up................plenty of cord ...will I be so lucky to attempt to connect on the first try, no reworking the splices? several times maybe? Well knock me down! It fired right up....whew.....Now gotta spend some time coming up with a workable plan, to get this scene back on track....tomorrow lolol No way will Jackie let me monopolize her telephone so I will be lucky to sneak an hour or two here or there. If I come up missing in action please know that I will be missing you all and am working my way back as soon as possible. Oh yeah, am sure I will be hearing about my quiet activity tonight....oh boy! Do you think this will work? --->

Oh Cathy that's hilarious reading - absolutely precious
![]() I had a similar sort of wild panic, a few weeks ago, when my broadband suddenly went dead on me. I checked all my network settings, checked all the plugs and cables, rebooted the PC and router/modem - still nothing! At this point, I was ready to start crawling across the ceiling while chewing the carpet, when I suddenly remembered an email I received earlier from my ISP - Lo and behold, that was the time when my phone and broadband connection would be down, for approx 15-20 minutes during the early hours of the morning, while major upgrades were done to their servers etc. My sigh of relief could be heard in the next street!

Re: The Dr. Groucho, Dr. Chico & Dr. Harpo Thread v
Which types of internet connection do not require you to start with preexisting telephone service? I mean to get dsl do you need to supply a working phone line? Wish I could just dump phone service and have internet only.
i pay +/- $15 for phone, 9.95 aol... wish I knew of isp that does a dedicated line and not cost more than 25 ish |
