Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! cont...

hey DC - the "slippery leg" makes a new twist on the old "wobbly boot" often worn by punters leaving the pub - wow, combine the two and you would be in dangerous territory! - glad you can laugh with them and not get upset by your situation.
My 82 year old mother has hip joint problems - has had one replacement and is on the waiting list for the other and sometimes she goes to the local shops on her invalid scooter - she is worrying that they are all going to ban her from going into their shops (not on the scooter - she gets off and goes in on walking sticks) after getting stuck in the chemist, the hairdressers and the grocery shop. Her hip just seizes up and she can't go anywhere - at the chemist their delivery guy, a footballer, had to carry her out to her scooter in a big bear hug now when they see her pull up one of the girls runs out and gets her prescriptions and brings them back out to her.
I've offered to do this sort of stuff for her and she lets me when she's bad but likes her independence (has lived on her own for 35 years) so struggles on with it.
Parents - who'd have them!

@ Zulu - Your mum sounds a bit like a character on my estate here, a wonderful old dear in her mid-70's. She's discovered that she can get to the next 'town' and back on her electric mobility-chair, or if she goes to the town after, she can get 4 hunky guys in police uniforms to (literally) pick her up and give her a lift home

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! cont...

You know that is something I learn long time ago, things happen, but you have to keep going and besize laughter is a good healer of many problems. Sometimes, like here its a lot of times, you have to fight for that laughter, it's hard to come by. Hay I laugh at myself or when I am by myself, I do silly things or like I do here cut up and laugh. if I could not laugh at something, might as well curly up and died. You have keep going, even when you do not want to. If I had a wish I'd wish I could give each person in this world something to laugh about.

You know, I am the same way, call me Mr. independant, go as long and as far has you can. You's guys are right I have been so stress out and depressed for the last two months, But I can just set down and give up, I have to fight it off and keep going, no matter what comes my way. You know there is 56 ways to play solitary and in last year I have play solitary 4000 times. are we having yet!!!

And their be fireworks all over the place tonight for the fourth of July.

One of my 'Golden Rule's is - 'Why live life seriously? - You won't get out of it alive....' Mrs WereBo gets most annoyed at times, cos I can laugh at things that she considers to be serious, more so at things beyond our control

I hope you had a good 4th July celebration DC - Now, about that back-tax on a certain boat full of tea, due some time ago......

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! cont...

How Mersey, there must be a glitch on this here thread, I could have sworn some one said back-taxes, well put it on our tab and send the bill to china, our back up plan.

That was a good one werebo, I'll get a kick out of that in my sleep tonight, I needed that. I think your 100% right on about being to serious, Maybe some of out governments should listen to that and quick trying to get one up on other countries, to greedy.

Wouldn't you know it, I get use to and set up nicely with
1&1.com with my domain name and working on my website with them and wanting to add-on to me web building and son of a gun if their not going out of business. Now I've got to search for another place to transfer my domain name to and go Thur this bull allover again. Anyone know who is WHOIS.COM is? What ever I have to do, I have to do it quick because mne expires on the 10th of this month. Got any great suggestions.

hey DC - if you still have any of those hot temps left send some my way, it's 10 degrees C in my kitchen at the moment and getting colder - might need to go make some good old fashioned chicken and vegetable soup to warm the innards up some.
@ werebo - yup, I'm sure we all take life too seriously these days and all it gets us is serious trouble

I have a book called 150 ways to play solitaire. A guy saw the book in my friends van once and said, "Aw Cathy, I'll be your friend!"

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! cont...

Hay Cathy and zuluclayman, Didn't Know anyone was up this late. Been working on my webepage again, i found myself scratching my head for over an hour and my drink on the desk got warm and melted all the ice.

WOW, I did not know that 150. I'd be going over the edge if I played that much. It's hard to found friends around it my age, and then when I do, few days later they disapear from sight, like I have bad Breath or something
Maybe what I need is a make over
Most of the time, about 98%, I go somewhere where there is lots of people around and wind up just getting somthing to eat and drink, hangout listening to everone else talk, maybe draw on a nakpin and then go home to the same routine.

Hay zuluclayman. I'd Glad to send you some of this weather, but I can't found the right type of Box to put it in!!!

Would there be a discount, if the TV rights were signed over to the TSF Surgery?

DC - you have my personal assurance that the operation will turn out exactly as planned. As regards the TV rights, I can secure an exclusive contract on your behalf - for the small sum of 85 billion yen. Let me know if you want to go ahead. We have loads of spare parts - you tell me what you want to look like and I'll do the rest...
