Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh

Let's see DC - sinclair is still around, although he's not been in Offline for a while. Carsey is here as well, but I think he may be studying. DonaldG is definitely around - see the Photographers link in my signature. GtP is also still here although I haven't seen him around very much lately. The only person really missing is GG - definitely haven't seen him for quite a while.

Yeah, we've been trying to contact Mimo but no luck so far. Rhort and his lady were expecting an addition to their family if I remember correctly. Perhaps now is the time...

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh

Oum, how did you know he has me train to fetch a throw away stick. What hamson- I know the stick is out there in the yard. O come on, that the 10th time to day!!! I am tired. O-O - OK, but this is the last time I am going for that Chew-toy today? Think he learn to get his on sticks!!!!

"Flash" Due to reconstruction work in my room, I may or may not be online for 2 of 3 days. I am moving part of my completed work station in my room which requires me to break ever thing down!!!

Had Werebo, I have done a lot of that rebuild a car before, but my concern is if I still have the muscle and patients I had back then. My mechanic said he might loan one of his machanics out to me, If I am will to pay him a fair wage to help me out which would not be to much if I can do most of the work.
At one time I had build a street dragster out of a Rambler stationwagon. Had a full race corvete engine with super charger on it, Munzey transmission - No reverse. Had a nitro kit in it when I race it at the local track. Wide tires with in thousand od an inche street legal.
Only one problem with it thought-- the orginal rust red paint had turn pink, so therefore I name it the pink Orgey car. -- the front sets folded back flat and the back sets would folded foward to make a perfect bed from front to back, with all the padding install for raceing and storage conpartment for drinks, it was well used. The paint job was the last thing I had to do. Unfortunitly, because I was winning races with it, one of my rivals stoled it, while the police where in chase he and one other in it lost control and found a telephone pole and scattered the thing in million pieces. the police said just before they hit the pole they heard a loud boom from the car which ment they hit the nitro and was clock a little over two hundred mph. and where airbourn, so much for my car rebuilding days. Later on the police ask my for the blue prints for the car so they could speed up a car for stopping street drags in the local area streets. A year later they gave me a palic for saving lives on the street.

After I finish the work station I reckon that is what I will do, pull the trans out -farm out the rebuild in it. Pull the engine and work on it. And make a scearch for A use good condition Nisain or toyota bed, then save for some springs for the rear in. and install a coupling (trailer package) and may extend the rear end a foot. I have a friend that has a welding machine, I have a plasma cutting machine. I also know a good body man. I was hoping to put a double cab on it but that is asking to much right now. I have a car that I can drive as long as I don't haul heavy stuff in in.

Hay Glas does any one know Gisteks home address. She has been gone a very long time and I for one am a be worry about her. it would be nice if some one could send her a get well card and maybe a little future hope. from all of us.

See you guys and Gal's later got to go to work and
re-contruction.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh

Thanks 'bo and all. I'm recovering ok. Doing way better than my sister did ten years ago, so she's major jealous.

I'm trying to update my blog regularly to let people know how I'm doing.
http://variosities.com/NeckBlog
I'm a bit shaky today, so I probably won't update until later this afternoon.

Meanwhile, I've seen GG on another forum a couple of times. He's ok, but quite busy there. I'll probably be cutting back as well. I'm looking into opening a forum of my own and between that and the other stuff I hope to be able to work on as I recover from neck surgery, I expect to be too busy to pop in daily.

WOW!!! It's amazing how well those scars have healed, in the four days between the photos. You should be near-normal again within a month, at that rate

Hi gistek - glad to see that it seems to have gone well. Take it easy and make sure you get enough rest.

Wishing you all the best (from the Surgery you know you should have tried first...)

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh

Hay guys and gals I am back, some how my last message was not on here, don't know why, it show up when I hit "Summit replay" Hummmmm!!! any old way it said " I would be off line for a few days while I brought in the bottom half of my work station which I have finished, well Had a few touch ups to do; sand down the edges of the center top which open up to a secet draw to store my notebook but other then that it work out very good. Now I have room to brace my arms while typing.
Now All I have to do is finished off the towers on either side to stack the equip and the computer mounting slides so I have total excess to each computer when I need to upgrade or change wiring configurations. Well give me plenty of room to write/computer work/ add a wado tablet for drawing/ do my recording studio stuff / etc-etc.
Above all its nice to be back with friends.

As for the truck I think I will tackle it next week, it is a bit cold out there and as they say March came in like a lion this year. We had some scary moments yesterday (bad bad bad weather) here but we where lucky, here all the tornado's where a few miles away. One was a F4.

I told you's guys a story about my Rambler super charge station wagon in the thread that got missing, o well guess there must have been a reason. Well get to go to the eyeball doctor tomorrow so I might be on tomorrow, pending if they put the stingy stuff in my eye.

A professional what?

DC, I'm involved with several forums, so I decided a blog would be the best way to keep everyone updated without having to enter the same info over and ovr.

I started out with google apps, but switched to WordPress when the company I host on added it to their services. I havn't actually started a forum yet, but I do have a forum idea I want to play with.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh

[b]Gistek, I am glad to hear you are doing well. You keep me posted via EM on the forum. I have been working with HTML/Dhtml/Javascript/ and Visual Basic which I think will lead me into making my on website and I want to incorporate a forum in to it. I am also working on some animation programs like blender. But please keep me posted. O BTW my email has changed.

Mcninjaguy, If"you ever need any let me know I'll gladly send them to you. They are good, specially with a bit of Cinnamon and butter. I use to eat them all the time when I was a kid and carried a small bag of grids with me on plane trips but now I eat them once a week now.

If I miss spell today, its because I can't halfway see, that stuff they put in my eyes makes it hard to see anything. I can just make out the movie I am watching "THEM".

Hay I need a bit of advice here! I talked to a lady at the drug store while she was getting my meda few times. Last time I went there She got a little unhappy when some other girl got my meds and then happy when they gave it to her to give to me. The next time I see here -- would you think it would be alright to ask her-- If I could ask here a personnel question and if she is married? And if she says no! If she would like to meet me at Olive garden for dinner. And yes she is very pretty. What do you think?

Ua.. Define that word " professional" Glas! [b]
