Ooooh, now that's a good question - The answer to which is: I haven't the faintest idea!
![]() It might've been from another forum, or a 'freebie' smiley web-site, I can't remember now.... I found this one in my collection, although it's more of a snigger than a giggle ![]()

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
yeah DC - brings back memories of snake chasing in the bush near my mum's place (she still lives there now) - it was an old Army rifle range in the bush near where we lived - we would go there and get forked sticks and use them to jab down on various non-poisonous, small snakes behind the head, kill them, take them to where the big, red meat-ants had their nest and tie a them to a stick planted in the ground so that the ants would eat the flesh away and leave a nice clean snake skeleton for us to take to school/home etc.
Looking back it was pretty cruel but fun and exciting at the time.

That I understand very well, you go to look for something found it, think wonder where in the world we got it!!! get kind of funny at times.Hay zuluclayman, I know what you mean. Some of the guys that I hung out with got the idea one night to take a horse rocker some kid had, tie a rope on it and pull it across a main roar just as the sun had gone down, Boy got people drive back and forth attention real fast, until one of them pulled it to close in front a driver, with a truck came by and ran over it. I was trying to figure out who was the scaredist, the driver or us. I think my feet where still running when I went to bed that night. I decided to stop hanging out with those guys, thing where getting out of control, and sure enought it did. the next week, them guys got in some serious touble and got caught doing it. They wanted to form a gang and I said no way. they call me every whempy name in the book, But it past on and they got deeper in trouble.

DC - I think you might have been remembering Deckard? Does that name ring a bell? I think he was from Oregon or Washington State - can't remember which.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
You are right. I was alway wondering how he was doing. Hay I remember him telling me about MT Saint Helan and he could see it from where live. Didn't realize how long it had been though. I miss him quict a bit. Thanks Glas, Ua. you to JTP. BTW how are you two buzzers doing.
You know Mcninjaguy, I lose count of how many times I come close being throw in jail. Boy am glad I made it throu it all. It was strange. When I was 14 or 15, I was sleeping in my room, my mom and dad in the next room across from me. I was sleeping fair good and nothing unsual had happen that day. But that night I was sleeping and got the scare of my life. I saw what appeared to be an abberprrishon of a woman covered in white flowing over me. I could not move, speak, scream or yeild. She said You will go thru many things in you life, All you have to do is call his name and he will be with you. You know what I did and thank God I am still here, many of x-friends and friends as you said there in a bad place. I value good friends, boy people can really do there best to use you. A preach told me, people Hate a goody person that tries to follow the rules of a goody man. Boy did I found that out. over all thing I got hurt twice to many. Any way I am OK now and getting stronger every day minus two females and voled to never get married again. And that is a blessing.

Hi DC. I'm fine but very busy at present. Actually, it's just that as you get older what used to take a day to do now takes a week.
![]() Have you seen the thread about my daughter?

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
I know what you mean or has they say as you get older, time gets faster.
It seems I have to figure out how in the world gas from my gas tank in my truck manager to get into my oil pan and more then likely I will have to rebuild the truck or decided to rebuild the whole truck from engine to transsmission the major body work, which I Don't have the cash for. Got to watch over my dad to. Some how I've got to make this Computer stuff work for me again. And learn this Software at a much faster rate then I was planning.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
DC see what I put in the other thread it could be as simple as going to another gas station. In my car they must have been putting an additive that doesn't burn in the fuel and slips past the rings into the sump my oil level was going up and my car started to blow black smoke and I thought I had blown my engine.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
That is very very interesting, because that is what my is doing to a tee. Might I inquire what you did the correct the problem? It is a wonder that it didn't explode very much like a race car. There is a lot of seals in the oil compartment that can deteriorate fast and swell up when doused in gas.
I have the truck manual that toyata tech use. For ever car I buy I buy a tech manual to be included with the car. I also have a very good Christian mechanic I deal with and is fair in his charges and belong to the handyman-USA.com forum. Between them and what you might tell me what you did to fix yours. Maybe I will have a good idea what to expect and do for mine. I was really hoping to fix the truck up but it was going to cost a lot of money. It is a manual trans which needs to be over hauled and I have to get a use bed because the side panels are rusting. ( I should have lesson to myself when I bought it and had it under-pen coated but i didn't). I have to get new rear springs and a new paint job on it. Most of the work I can do myself except the trans over haul which I found a man that does nothing more then over haul toyota trans right here in town. Well I guess I should be glad it got me this far. it has 380500 mile on it with very little maintains, till now. Guess I could use it has a hobby and work on it a little at a time. no one will give me no more then 500.00 for it any how. I sure was hoping to use it this summer though. You remember me saying sometime ago, "there is away a reason why things happen" so I should consider this to be another one of lifes little test. The battleground for our soles is right here on earth. God and Saint are the contenders and we are ponds. But Saints can not win no matter what, so he is trying to take who he can with him. How do they say it. There is only two side of a fence and you can't stand in the middle. On the light side of thing Sandy tell your wife I have some extra wood screws 1, 2,3, 4 & 6 inch if she needs them. Tell her that my mum, when she was a child jump off a tall porch and crush her foot bones, said she would never walk but she is still walking, her foot hurts like hell but she is still walking, thank God.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
Hi DC it was fixed by accident my mechanic would try things then I would watch to see the oil level rising and then it came good and I didn't realise that going to a new petrol (Gas) station for my fuel fixed it and some time later when I was talking to my Bro-In-Law who is a mechanic he asked me where I was buying my fuel and I told him and he said that place had a problem with their fuel (they were putting something in it) and he told me about a guy with the same problem and the problem fixed itself when he went to work for a while in another town and when he came back the problem came back and there were other people with the same problem.
Of course the problem could be with your vehicle for example if it has a mechanical fuel pump it could be leaking from there into the sump (I tried a new fuel pump) also it could be your carburettor flooding because of faulty needle and seat or the float could have fuel in it so take it out and shake it to see. The easiest thing to try would be put new oil in the sump and buy your fuel from somewhere else and watch the oil level. |

Yes, real life got very much in his way - other things didn't quite work out as planned. I hope we may see him back one day.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
O-outch!! I just bump my knee!
Hay Sandy & Glas. That is interesting about the car. I am going to replace the oil filter and put some gas tretment in with som gas and give it a crank and see if it does the ame thing. I contacted my mechanic and he said the same thing. Also I have to pump the gases a bit to get it to crank, it may have a carborater valve stuck or a broken overhead valve allowing the gas to pass into the oil or one of the cyclender ring maybe line up, again pushing to gas pass the cyclender into the oil. I have some test equip from my pass hotrod days I can check the pressure in the cyc's. Glas, I rather miss a lot of the guys and gals that have visited this thread , Have not heard from Sinc nor GG nor Carcery nor Go lately neither DonaldG or Jack Sparral.

Re: The New TSF Surgery - All Welcome! v. Even more Flesh
Hi DC
, some of us are still here ![]() The worst-case scenario for your truck could be a blown head-gasket . A messy and time-consuming job, but not too hard. It's the sort of job I hate though, 1/2 a day to strip everything off, 10-15 seconds to replace the gasket, then 1/2 a day to reassemble everything back again! At least, it can be done by 1 person (and a dog to supervise the work and fetch the occasional thrown stick )
