Re: Game: Questions Only v. Happy Thanksgiving

Absolutely...

This will demonstrate to those who have never heard the Goons, why it was so popular in the late 50s... I remember hearing this one when it was broadcast live.

One of my all time favourites!

What time is it Eccles?

They're quite recent compared with the Goons though, aren't they? Do you remember the episode with the giant cat?

Sure do!

They began my love affair with British comedy....'The Young Ones', 'Not the Nine O'clock News', 'Blackadder', 'Absolutely Fabulous', 'Alas Smith & Jones', 'A Bit of Fry & Laurie' 'Yes, Minister', 'The New Statesman'...etc.

Does anyone else think..a bit like music...'those were the days'?....& no C.G. required!

Wasn't he the funniest character in that show?

Oh Sandy, Guinness asked me to ask you to say 'Hi' to Charlotte please? We're 'dog-sitting' for 3 weeks again this Christmas
