The "hour early"/"hour late" difference was 2 hours (120 minutes). The difference in speeds was 1 minute per mile (60 mph = 1 mile
per minute vs. 30 mph = 1 mile per 2 minutes). So, 120 minutes equals 120 miles. To get to the wedding on time (3 hours)
the right speed is 40 mph. (Best alternate - leave an hour later and let husband drive.)

Six chartists could construct six charts in 20 minutes. How many chartists would it take to construct 36
charts in 2 hours. (For this question assume chartists can work together.)

so x=120

Re: Trivia Corner

First to crash on the moon would be Luna-2, first to land would be Luna-9

Re: Trivia Corner

I agree with justpassingby. Luna 2 was first crash landing and Luna 9 first successful landing.

The first spacecraft to land on the moon was Russia's "Luna 2" on Sept, 12, 1959. (However, you might not have
wanted to be aboard since it crash landed in that lunar tourist trap between the craters "Archimedes" and "Autolycus".)
The next was Russia's "Luna 9" which soft landed in February of 1966.

Back to some puzzles where the main clue is the number. Example: 9 = Lofac - That would be 9 = Lives of a cat.
1. 90 = D in a RA
2. 32 = DF at which W F
3. 12 = S of the Z
4. 29 = D in F in a L Y
