ps maybe also, someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial for working with pictures..I don't know how

Hi Cathy you have got so far and now if you want to make it bigger
1.click on your picture
2.When your picture opens then highlight the URL (the http://www.techsupportforum etc.) by clicking on it only once to make it blue. Then while holding down the "Ctrl" button on your key board press the "c" key now you have copied the link to the picture
3. Navigate back to your post and click on "edit"
4.type in [IMG]now with no spaces hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the "v" key. Now you have pasted in the link to your picture so follow it with no spaces with [/IMG] and then press the save button at the bottom of your edited post you will end up with your small picture with the picture at full size above it.
If you press the Quote button at the bottom of my post here you will see how I have done it with the [IMG] and the [/IMG] don't make the mistake and use the {} brackets

If you want to print these instructions slide your cursor over them to highlight them (make blue) then hold down "Ctrl" while pressing "c" to copy them then open a word document click on the word document to make sure it is active then while holding down the "Ctrl" key press the "v" key to paste them to the word document

You can use this copy and paste procedure when you want to copy and paste a link (URL) to a page that you have found on the net only to keep it as a link don't use the [IMG] and [/IMG]

must be the lid reference (maybe cause in the wee (pun intended) hours I get a cold awakening and also have found Elizabeth (3) sittin on the porcelain) Now that I have hang of posting pictures I won't have to pull out of my mail archives....tx all
