Is apple turning into the new MS?
Proprietary Ipods
http://www.ipodnoticias.com/video/ipod-alexangulo.jpg DRM inserted into the hardware http://www.realtechnews.com/posts/2915 And now suing people over small potatoes http://blogs.zdnet.com/Apple/?p=170 Has apple always been this way but before it was just too small for us to notice? MS has been getting some pretty stiff competition when it comes to being a techno bully.

Mac Method Wiz -- Manager
|
well, its the same old apple as always. but in their defense, they are not the only one to make proprietary music players, sony does as well, and it seems to me that they aren't mac compatible, while ipods will work on both platforms. second, all of intels new cpus have trusted computing in them, and its up to the builder of the computer to implement it, and apple has not, and in fact if you look at a list of companies that are part of the trusted computing group, apple is not on that list (side note, see here for the other side of tc). and apple has always been sue happy when it comes to protecting what it doesn't want out yet. that reporter has a point, but i personally think he should of gone to apple and asked them about it before posting it, but thats just my proper upbringing coming into play on not spreading rumors.
