LCD vs CRT

CRT no contest. LCDs, even the best out there, can't beat a CRT for sharpness and refresh.

The only problem is size/weight.

Hi,

Gaming is certainly CRT and not even a contest. LCD just can't compare. However, my personal preference is to take less and use LCD.

I cant tell teh difference so to me it dosent really matter. but ive noticed that some LCD have problems with certian backgrounds.

being a gamer, but with lack in space, i had to make a tuff choice, but deiced to get an lcd, with 8ms response, and in most things, i can't tell. there are a few moments when it is noticeable, but for the most part, when playing a game, you're too busy staying on top to notice the difference. but that is because i have a fast lcd. on my dad's, which is 18ms, it is really bad, almost to unplayable, but my brothers don't notice, so it really is up to the player. just do your homework first. i did a lot of customer review reading before i choose this lcd. i picked it because a lot of people playing the same games (hl2&bf2) said it was great.

CRT all the way - desk space is no issue for me, and I'd prefer quality over being able to put the keyboard on the desk even if it weren't.

Color blind so it doesn't matter, why is the backgorund laways brown???
