Dual Boot Mac and Windows?

Now you can true dual boot OSX and Windows instead of just emulating a Windows environment.

notice that apple waited to release that until it had been done by hackers? i think apple has been sitting on it for a while, but waited to release it to see if anyone else out there could do it. then they could see how popular it was. and being it did get done, and was popular, they release theirs, and again have control of how it is done. alittle sly on apple's part, but i really glad they did it.
but i'd reather have win apps run in the mac os like classic apps did on the ppc macs, so i can play bf2 and hl2 w/out rebooting.

no they won't, because they don't control the hardware that goes into the computer. apple controls the hardware as well as the software. so they can include the win xp drivers for the hardware, as well as trick the win xp installer to think there is a bios. mac os x will only run on certain hardware, and needs the efi, which is rare in the pc world. and all of the installs of os x on clones are ones built very close to what apple uses, and required the hackers to write new drivers for their hardware combination. i think ms has its hands full already making sure win will run on just about any hardware combination, let alone write drivers for apple's os too. i sure wouldn't hold my breath.

i read it all, and the truth is they don't know yet. i'd have to agree with some of them that apple can't do that without stating it on the bootcamp web page. they'd get sued to hard. and as someone pointed out, the wording is the same for os x, so does os x, the only mac os void the hardware warranty?

Well you know what I think it's still beta (you can't even do the O so important alt ctrl del or right click on the notebook without a USB keyboard) so I'm sure the full version will cover you.

I was wrong, http://binaryidiot.com/index.php?area=news&id=59
