Police say that US television shows help Malaysians commit crimes better.

Then it will be cars, then trains, then power stations, then air..................

I always thought thye went into enough detail on the CSI shows to make crimes a little easier. Showing people the little things that let us catch them (and in turn making us able to hide these little things) isn't the... smartest of ideas.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, it not only makes it easier to commit the crime in the first place, but also less likely a jury will convict. Juries are used to major scientific breakthroughs closing the case, whereas it's normally just plain boring evidence that proves people are guilty, yet the jury puts less weight on this 'boring' but real evidence, and simply sees a lack of 'sensational' evidence and votes not guilty.

It's just a shame these people can't see the difference between TV and real life.

You know what I can't stand, how the puritanical christians like Bush can sentence a man to death on DNA evidence, but then say they don't believe in evolution. If you're going to use science then use it all the time.
