Kissing Feet

LORAIN, Ohio -- A local high school principal may have been fired for kissing three of his students' feet, NewsChannel5 reported.

A priest at St. Anthony of Padua in Lorain said principal Robert Holloway kissed the feet of three 14-year-old boys because he lost a bet to them over a volleyball game.

Holloway said he did it to make the students laugh. However, administrators said he took a bet too far.

Holloway isn't facing any criminal charges.

Maybe they fired him because all he DID was kiss their feet.

Sounds like a harmless bet with a draconian response.

Well my grade level principals said they'd shave their heads if my sophmore class, I believe 75-90% passed the Texas Assesment of Knowledge and Skills (aka: the dreaded test that mostly all we learn in school is the knowledge needed to pass this test

Thank goodness for my rebel teachers!)

I think it's ridiculous. He had a bet with the boys and held up his end of the bargain thats all. Of course I wouldn't go round kissing anybody's feet but hey....... and who knows maybe the guy was that sure he wouln't lose the bet and it probably made the bet that much more interesting. People in the world need to lighten up. There are far more important issues to get worked up about.

My dad offered to kiss my brother's *** if he got an A in English in the 9th grade. He worked hard and only got a B

I agree with Horse. It just seems that people need something to whine about all the time so they take something unimportant and make it big. Somehow...

Back in HS I didn't have to take the standardized idiocy tests like poor Henry, but we did do other things. One time we were told that for every dollar we raised for a fund raiser we'd get one strip of duct tape to tape a teacher to the wall. It took forever to get that poor woman down...

i would donate like $1000 if our school did that. then we would tape the principal and leave her there

everyone REALLY hates her because she fired this kick-*** teacher

Well in the bible, cleaning people's feet, kissing them, etc.. was a sign of a lower class person. A servant or something.

This would equate to humiliation of the teacher, not a fireable offense, if the above responses are any indication.
