I have to say from everything I know about suicide, that letter makes it seem like he either didn't want to kill himself or didn't fully understand what he was doing.

But I guess that happens when you're 14.

Some kids just learn early on that life sucks. It happens. It's easier to check out early than to stick around and have to deal with it.

Too much computers and not enough parental involvement. My dad always did stuff with us and talked to us about the C64 even though he knew nothing about it. He even created a D&D character and played with me just because it was one of my interests.

Poor kid.
