What's your dream job?

My dream job would be to have my own local establishment where I sell computer components, custom pc's, repair pc's, sell games, have a gaming 'sanctuary' inhouse, host lan parties, go to lan parties, etc. That would be incredible!

Then you have my wife that wants her own coffee shop (conasuer(sp?) of coffee!). She'll get hers before I get mine, that's just the way I am.

I'll settle for my web design job for now!

What's yours?

gamerman0203 -

Think bigger...do both in the same storefront. Win - Win.

Dream job? Retired, on a beach, with plenty $ saved.

I have a plan that integrates the coffee shop and PC shop/LAN/gameroom concept. It's win.

I don't really wanna say my dream job (it'd be something bry or yustr would say ).... but it'd be sort of similar to 40s

Or:

I once met this guy in 8th grade for career day. He was a "professional hacker". He worked in and around NASA (well Johnson Space Center) for companies testing their servers by hacking into them. The only problem was he said you have to submit a formal report telling them of the status of their servers, and how to upgrade the security on them.

E, my wife was born in Arizona and wants to go back to there or texas (she's lived in both). She hates Michigans winters so we'll move down there, and we can all do the coffe shop/game room idea. heh! dreams my friend, dreams!

Trading Michigan winters for Arizona summers isn't much of a difference comfort wise. I guess you get less depressing gloom though.

I wonder what Henry thought I would say?? I've often said adult movie star, but when your wife laughs so hard that she can cry at that, it kind of kills it.
Seriously though, I would like to be a high school trecher. I would teach U.S. History and Computer Basics and coach the soccer team. Although, getting paid to play with computers right now doesn't suck.

Don't forget that the scenery is much more visible with less foliage - as in AZ in the summer - as it strolls by...

My dream job: opening a hi-end stereo/HT/record shop. And having enough $ not to worry if nobody comes thru the door...

Or mowing lawns at a top flight golf course. No pay required. Just let me play each afternoon.

I have also thought about being a teacher - I'd probably look to Jr. Hi or HS - also in history & world cultures. In fact I looked into it awhile back - I just couldn't afford to take a 2/3 cut in pay...sad commentary on the value we place on teaching isn't it?

Bry, that is a big leap from adult movie star to high school teaching! . Heh, just messin' around.

I've often thought of the hot Arizona temps because I HATE the sun. Ok, well I don't hate the sun, it is just very hot and BRIGHT sometimes and I'm sort of the kind of guy that likes to stay where it's cool and not so bright. Funny that I am that way because my wife is a beach/Sun worshiper! I drag myself to the beach at least 10 times a summer for hours on end for her. It's worth it though. I get a nice bright red hue!

You're right. It's almost bikini season. I have to get in shape. I'll be heading down to the sunglasses store shortly.
