Advanced Sleep Phase Syndrome
It's four in the morning, and schoolgirl Bethany McQuerry is starting her homework. Her dad, Clay, does the family's washing before going to the 24-hour supermarket. Meanwhile, Bethany's mum and brother, Janelle and Casey, sleep on.
But Bethany is no swot and Clay is no housework obsessive. They just wake up early every single day, whether they like it or not - it's as if they have permanent jet lag. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4741340.stm

Sounds like me only inverted - I rarely get tired before 5am, even if I go to bed, and really have trouble getting out of bed before 8.

Doesn't work for me, so I assume it wouldn't work for them either.....

I have always had the problem of being tired all day. I wake up at 6am for work. But come 9pm I am wide awake till I force myself to sleep around 11-12.

I wake up at 3.00 to 3.30 AM every morning and have done so for as long as i can remember, but at 8.30pm my body tells me it is time to sleep and i find it hard to remain awake unless I am stimulated by something like excitement and of course Alcohol, but it does not matter what hour i go to sleep i still wake at 3.00am
