Years ago I was driving with a friend southbound on US 101 near Santa Barbara. We were flirting with a couple of girls in another car. They were driving smoothly, staying in one lane for many miles while we had been pulling up behind them - to the side of them - in short we were being guys. We were a bit behind them when they suddenly switched lanes. My friend and I though that was weird and just then we came up over a small rise to see the headlights of an oncoming car. I jerked the wheel and we avoided a headon crash by mere feet.

I kept looking back expecting to see a ball of flames errupt but nothing. Very scary.
