Mum in copycat suicide

A WOMAN has killed herself by jumping in front of a train at the precise spot where her daughter killed herself and her two children in the same way.

The tragedy happened at Southall station, west London, where Navjeet Sidhu, 27, threw herself into the path of the Heathrow Express while holding her toddler son and five-year-old daughter last August.

Yesterday Satwant Kaur Sodhi, 56, jumped in front of the 1030 First Great Western train from Bristol to Paddington.

The incident was reported shortly after midday.

A close friend said Mrs Sodhi, who lived nearby, had repeatedly returned to the scene after her daughter's death.

The friend added: "Mrs Sodhi was always at the train station. We would see her just standing there, staring and crying - she was in an awful state.
