It's kinda sad that they have to force pride on their citizens by having a state run search engine that warps the results to fit the presidents views of what Fancie is about.

It sounds more of a call for Europe to focus on hi-tech and not let the US control everything. I do like the irony in this:

did you know that he did it before ,it s not the first time .
Gps vs gallileo .

They are trying to be like Japan. Take our ideas and then make them better. But at least japan did it with private industry, and not government oversight.

I don't see why they are seeing this as a threat. Maybe Yahoo! and Google are based in the US, but that doesn't mean they are trying to compete on a national level with other countries.
