What is your favorite "jam" song?
I'd have to say anything by Fooled By April, and I'm starting to love Dispatch, but I'd have to go with, off the top of my head *because I'm listening to it*,
"Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns & Roses Those great guitar riffs, good lyrics, the catchy tune...... I have plenty of other favorite songs, just my music collection is very small so I'd really have to think about it.

"Closing In"
It's a killer instrumental (specifically electric guitar) by The Living End / Chris Cheney. He's definately one of my favorites. I'd love to hear what the Aussie's have to say about them... had a mate from Australia that lived here in NY for a year... he said they might as well be a sellout boyband.

Yeah, whipping post is great. So is Under the Bridge, but I like Soul to Squeeze better

If 3 minutes qualifies - the opening jam to Sweet Jane - Rock and Roll Animals by Lou Reed. Turn it way up. (Maybe even up to 11 if anyone remembers Spinal Tap.)
Another more jazzy one: Low Spark of High Heeled Boys - Traffic from On the Road.
