Seeking to market its handheld game device to hip city dwellers, Sony has hired graffiti artists in major urban areas to spray-paint buildings with simple, totemic images of kids playing with the gadget.

They had a contest that had the people do this exact thing on the Apprentice. I wouldn't put it past them.

This will have the exact same effect the kids who played San Andreas and then went spray painting building in their area. Parents will complain and get some sort of action.

Sony is currently not being the best role model and I don't think its getting the hint that it should lie low for a few months.
