oh :) Her motherboard was shot along with her PSU. So she decided not to get all fixed as she was very excited about buying a new computer with Windows Vista. She wont be a computer owner for a while. Her monitor was basically the only thing would remain in working order if she didnt cut it :) She left everything to us to toss. :)

She was a very kind and educated person, a teacher. Makes me smile everytime i think what she did to the poor computer :) I dont even want to imagine what kind of a personality she has indeed :))))))

Wow.

All I have to say is if the cord is there, its most likely there for a reason.

There are people who seem to think they serve a decorative person, such as the woman I read about who moved her computer, and disconnected the ethernet cable because it couldn't reach. Then she complained to the IT guy and blamed him.

yes it was a dell it. was a very sad, unfortunete dell :)))))))))))))

On a second thought it is a major work to cut that thick cable. ( she really should be out of it with the frustration ) I should have asked what she used to cut it.

probably nothing.

I know when I get really fustrated I hit things occasionaly with no real reason.

Like I got mad at my computer one time and slammed my hand down on the desk without noticing a screw there.... ouch.

My guess is she was pulling and trying to get it out and then started getting fustrated and started looking around, and her eyes settled on scissors and she just acted.
