MetallicA

I wonder if they will be back with an album like "Master of puppets" or anything before " And justice for all ". Some people critised them so hard after the "load" but i thought if it was a new group who made the album people would have loved it. I kinda liked it. However the way they got popularized disapointed me more. Would you think they would ever come back ? And also if you have any lines thet you have never forgotten please share.

Good old days. :D

I think they have upset a lot of their fans over the file sharing and how agressive they are over it.

Personaly, I don't see them going back to their "old" sound. Thats not whats in and sells records and thats what they seem to be about now.

I agree that Lars made a big mess about the file sharing. He probably couldnt estimate how things were and could not keep the maturity. What i really believe is that was a sign of weakness. I have never been the best of anything worldwide so i could not tell, maybe they got tired.. Still i can not really fill their place.

can it be a multi million syndrome ?

Anybody ever see the documentary "Some Kind of Monster"?

Yeah, they pretty much bicker like little kids over every little thing. Lars and whosit... the frontman, are always fighting over something. Its become a job, not something they do for fun. I don't listen to them very much, but I think its a safe bet that being rich has made them snooty and they will never be the same.

they've lost it.

Their music doesn't have any more soul.

I agree. St. Anger showed us that quite plainly.

I saw their little documentary,

they were lost.

The lead singer didn't know where to go, but he still had problems letting the other members come up with stuff.

Every one needs to settle down and allow the new generation to step in once in a while, even musicians.

They needed a drastic change, coming back without one was a mistake. You can only come from the same place for so long before you've tapped out your source.

Metallica got me into rock music. But lately... they've sucked big. Re-Load and Load were good albums but since then it's been garbage.

*hugs the S&M DVD his ex gave him*

S&M was very cool! Having been a band geek & Metallica fan in high school, it was awesome to see the two come together! Never saw the DVD tho...

Work on the first part

Big LOL on the second.

I hope they do manage to release something decent, now that they reportedly sobered up.
