Friday Frijoles 8/19/05

Happy Friday!

1. Do you get excited when the season begins to change? Which season do you most look forward to?

2. What day of the week is usually your busiest?

3. Would you consider yourself to be strict when it comes to grammar and spelling? What's an example of the worst error you've seen?

4. Who has a birthday coming up, and what will you give them as a gift?

5. If you could have any new piece of clothing for free, what would you pick?

Sing now the lusty song of fruits and flowers.

1. Do you get excited when the season begins to change? Which season do you most look forward to?

Getting excited about the season beginning to change would be like getting excited about a snail race. It all happens far too slowly. Having said that, I prefer winter..... much nicer weather. At least the rain is properly cold then.

2. What day of the week is usually your busiest?

Monday, when everyone else has had time over the weekend to realise they've made a mistake, then let me know so I can fix it. This is why I've booked every monday off for months to come

3. Would you consider yourself to be strict when it comes to grammar and spelling? What's an example of the worst error you've seen?

Very. If you don't believe me, look at my past posts. Not necessarily the worst one, but one that really annoys me is a sign up in a local pub: "Prove your 18".... prove my 18 what?

4. Who has a birthday coming up, and what will you give them as a gift?

erm...... nobody. I don't know many people and they've all passed this year.

5. If you could have any new piece of clothing for free, what would you pick?

A comfortable suit. They're all just so uncomfortable, and when you need to talk to clients you really want to be comfortable.

1. Do you get excited when the season begins to change? Which season do you most look forward to?

No. I like fall, hate winter, hate spring. Summer is alright.

2. What day of the week is usually your busiest?

During the year? Pick a day. It's busy.

3. Would you consider yourself to be strict when it comes to grammar and spelling? What's an example of the worst error you've seen?

Yeah, I'm generally very strict with my words. The worst error I've ever seen: "Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream."; "Put food on your family!"; "Rarely is the question asked, 'Is our children learning?'"

4. Who has a birthday coming up, and what will you give them as a gift?

Nobody that I can think of...

5. If you could have any new piece of clothing for free, what would you pick?

A pair of plain khaki pants, I need them for my job.

Happy Friday!

1. Do you get excited when the season begins to change? Which season do you most look forward to?

Not really, but I get excited over holidays.... Autumn/Winter are my favorites...

2. What day of the week is usually your busiest?

Mondays

3. Would you consider yourself to be strict when it comes to grammar and spelling? What's an example of the worst error you've seen?

Very strict on spelling, not so much on grammar (I know if it sounds good, not if it is grammatically correct). This is recent, but a terrible error (not the worst): I was in Louisiana and saw this car with a sign in the window that said "4 Sail"

4. Who has a birthday coming up, and what will you give them as a gift?

My sister, but my mom usually picks it out (I'm usually really busy with homework/projects when my mom goes to get her presents)

5. If you could have any new piece of clothing for free, what would you pick?

A jacket, those stupid things are freaking expensive

1. Nope. I hate summer, too hot, hate fall cause its back to school. I guess its a tossup between spring and winter. I like them both, cause it means rain! Can't get enough rain.

2. All of them :-/

3. Yes, very strict. I don't do "IM" words unless I'm playing a game and need to get a message out quickly or something, or I'm in a hurry.

Other than that I type everything out and avoid spelling errors like the plague.

4. No one that I can think of.

5. A shirt. I never have enough clean shirts.
