several hurt in rush for cheap laptops

Thousands of people pushed their way through the Richmond International Raceway gates to buy a $50 iBook laptop computer from Henrico County Schools Tuesday morning.

PS : Look at how these guys behave for free unimportant consumer goods. Just imagine how they would behave for something important, something essential. Just imagine how they would behave in a time of emergency when the food distribution system has ground to a halt and there is no water coming through the taps. - Only a matter of time, remember New York when just the power was cut for a short period? It was chaos.

My System

Maybe they should have held on to them...

Overall graduation rate = 70%, one HS = 49% another = 54%

Overall SAT score = 1021 (just below nat average), one HS = 809 another = 956.

That's pretty bad performance, no wonder the District couldn't manage a simple laptop sale...
