Best years of my life...you probably didn't go to high school in Jersey. The school itself is fine, but there is nothing to do except go to the movies. And it costs 10 bucks to see a movie here.

The best years were elementary through junior high. They would have been better if you knew that those grades did not effect your later standing in life at all.

Actually it is 9.50 but with the tax it puts it over 10.

But yeah, I live right out of morristown, it's in the same school district. I bet you're familiar with those towns outside of the city- and how there's next to noting there. Pizzerias, grocery stores...the occasional bank. The nearest gas station is 10 minutes away from my house. The closest commercially zoned place is an auto restoration shop, which specializes in not doing anything and having little British cars rust out in its parking lot.

Let me speak for us older people. Most of us would rather be in school than work. You get the whole summer off. You get two weeks of in December. You get a week in the spring. Plus all of those "Holidays". School starts at 8 and ends at 3. Nobody is yelling and scramig at you on the phone and in your face. If you miss school, it's OK; if you miss work, nobody at your house eats.

Im sorry for your sad plight Justin but I agree with Bry.. Iv even been thinking of becoming a professional student just because I miss school so much. Funny though, I dreaded when I was younger just like you. Seriously enjoy it while you can... my son just graduated high school and he said he was sad it was over because now , even though he's going to college, he has to face 'real life' and start being responsible for bills and etc. But I will sympathize with ya :sealy:

School started this week for our county. Two new schools opened up, one being considered overcrowded already. There are plans for another 5 schools in 3 years I believe.

Anyway, good luck with school.

Ditto - when I look at the classes he can choose from at UMASS I get very jealous.

what does chough mean? I assume you meant to spell cough...

unless of course you were talking about the European corvine bird of small or medium size with red legs and glossy black plumage

Hmm... looks like people have changed avatars yet again...

but school was actually fun today.....

I have the core classes, then I have Computer Science, Outdoor Ed, and Art.

Computer Science is weird.... we will learn MS Word *how to mail merge and stuff *, MS Access, MS Excel, then Visual Basic.........

Outdoor Ed: Anyone know how to fish, I don't.........

Art:

Yes I know that I am supposed to miss school..... and I know that I will.......but I dread going........

Henry I feel for you. I've been out of high school for a long time and I'm glad. College isn't as bad. As for the best years of my life I would say right now is the best years. With in the past two years I bought my first house, had a baby boy, bought a decked out '05 Grand Cherokee, and I'm getting closer to the birth of my second baby who is a girl. Life is good!
Anyways, try your best to enjoy this time in your life. You only live once make it count.
