Users of Windows XP who have not installed Service Pack 2 are particularly vulnerable, as the code could be automatically downloaded without the user's knowledge

I found out recently through fixing someone's pc ,that he couldn't install Sp2 because he doesn't own a legit copy of windows XP .
This is bad for people who owns a hacked copy of xp ,these people try to save money ...in a stupid way ,cuz they are vulnerable to trojans .

I had Haxdoor-H I think it was called and it was sending credit card info to someone I think, cancled the card right away and luckily we didnt get robbed. Did it just in time cause a few weeks later our bank sent us a letter about that could have happend to us.

This sucks for the people who can but cant... Like me awhile back. I had a legit copy of XP but I was on 19.k dial up at the time and had no way of updating (every few hours it d/ced) I was in the mountains and had no way of getting higher speed internet.

I think M$ should make free disks that they mail to people who cant DL the update. After all I think they can afford it. Just make the people who request it give them the cd key or something.
