I like the movies. Never read one of the books though.

was too old for the books when they started coming out, the movies look like pretty good adaptations though. Word is the kids will be to old to do all the movies.

It has a hint of fantasy, maybe even the "star wars" of this generation...but I feel like I'm too old for it

I too am a big Harry Potter fan , for many reasons.. great story line, easy to follow, the characters are easy to get attached to, the classic, 'good vs evil' story. Simple enough for young readers but yet, engaing enough for us older readers * I do like the movies as well but prefer the books*

I have spent the last 3 days rereading the series. My youngest daughter * 11* got the newest book , Half Blood Prince on Sunday and by Mon night was on page 663.. she's finished now.

Rumor is, there's one book left and a new movie will be released in Nov .. * not a rumor*

I hated it initially because the first movie was SOOO kiddie, the 2nd was alright except the spiders were just stupid (why did they get sent to the spiders if the spiders were going to eat them? and *** is with that car?) The third one won me over. I hear the next one is going to be pretty dark

Read the books they will explain much more than the movies. The spiders were the only ones that could clear up the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets, more so what the thing was that was petrifiying the students.

I read all the books up to this one, and I bought the new book but I haven't started reading it yet.

I think the movies are alright...the one thing I love about them is the music- it's excellent and fits the whole mood like a glove.

You have to read this book it has such a...a...surprising (guess that word is good) ending, I would reread it if I hadn't put off my stupid homework until now!

I hear she's thinking about killing harry. He'll probably come back just like that other guy did though.

According to Barrens chat (warcraft), Harry and Hermoine get it on and Harry gets pregnant and gives birth to Voldemort.
