I'm not a Trek fanatic but I do appreciate the series. I just heard that Mr. Scott, James Doohan, has died. And sorry.. I just have to say it... Beam me up Jesus!

I am sorry to have to reveal this but he was some what of a frod, it was revealed years later by scotty himself that he gave the captin exagerated estimates of when repair work would be done and then acted like he performed a miracle when the work was finished.

I'm sorry to have to disclose this now but the truth had to come out
