I need help finding software that can help me take a video clip and create a gif out of it.

Thanks for your responce mimo. I've got paint shop pro so all I need is animation shop. Is that mainly for avatars?
For now I downloaded Ulead GIF Animator it's a trial but I might buy it because It works great for turning DV video into GIF's.
