Well in some cultures it is a sign of respect to pour a 40 oz on the curb for someone who has passed, it signifies that you will never forget them even through your own tough times.

If I had to do over again, my suggestion would be to take your gen ed's at your local community college & get them out of the way. Not only is it cheaper, but in my experience you get a better education in the basics because of the smaller class size & teachers that really want to teach. That will give you a couple more years to get to know the adult world & solidify your likes & dislikes as well as plan out your major. Then once those are out of the way you can transfer to a university & finish off your 4 year. I know that my career plans changed dramatically about 5 times between highschool & age 21, as did most of my friends. So I would say unless you're hellbent upon a particular career, save your money, take the classes that you need for all majors, and live a while so you know what you really want to do.
Aside from the academics, a lot of college is about experiencing new things & making memories. Join a frat. They're the best for making connections & putting yourself in a position to experience all the interesting things going on. Clubs are good too. Make some friends, go to some parties, take some road trips, etc... Have fun while you can & make the old timers envious!

Congradulations. Are you looking for a computer career? If I got to go back to when I graduated, I would take some business classes. The job market is very unstable. You no longer can work for a company for 20 or 30 years, job security is a thing for memories.

I know a guy who tryed the comp sci thing, he was loaded and still couldn't finish. Comp Sci is too much work for me.
Yeah I'm definately going to the JC, it's only a couple blkocks away from me, just need a bike. I'm probably going to go into the medical field. There are like 30 med careers you can choose from and they all require the same pre reqs. I went for lawyer I'd be stuck with that or teacher.

Take all of your prerequisites and electives at the community college. You should find something you like before you are out. I originally went to college to be a stock broker, before settling on U.S. History. And yet here I am as a computer geek. Of course don't forget to enjoy your life now, when you have more responsiblities when you are older, you don't get to do the thngs you do for fun anymore.
