I dunno either, I couldn't find it by searching, I had to use your link. But it might be a drop of H20, it is sperichal, different colors, but then I seriously doubt that because it is a multi-million dollar camera lens, or telescope lens, or satelite lens, or...

Well if those are satellite images - how could there be a waterdrop on the lense ????
Maybe its a weatherballoon at several thousand feet - would explain the size and why its out of focus.

I'm not sure where that place is (looks like Florida by the "FL") but it looks nice. Lots of water all around. Unlike my city where the largest body of water actually kills everything but a few microscopic lifeforms.
