I was bored and felt the need to compile something so I decided I'd try and build Mozilla from source code, they say its a monster... sigh ... it broke my computer! sorta..
I decided to start the build process and then start a copy of SimCity.. ok no biggie right.. I got a decent system.. doh! My box locks up nice and tight.. so I reboot and suddently my hard drives aren't being seen! So I figure its just my deathstar heading to hard drive heaven, so I look down and ricer inspired neon light is dead gah! So I start digging around the box while its still on (bad move) and I manage to take the light and hit one of the 4 80mm fans I have inside and blam! Break off one of the blades, so now its starting to sound like Roseanne doing the national anthem minus the whole crotch grabbing and spitting part (remember the world series eh?) So I'm forced to pull out the fan and notice that one of the power leads is pulled out .. causing the light to not function and by inference one of my hard drives due to the way I have it all wired up.. *sigh* so I pull out the scissors ... lol.. and push the clip back in the way its supposed to be, so everything is now happy, but I've lost an 80mm fan due to my stupidity!!! |
