A shame

So I went to my local brew shop the other day. Its always fun to go taste test the latest products and ideas. Picked up some new wine and beer. But he got something new in. Two 55 gallon wood barrells. So tempting. Could you imagine all the wine that could be made? Legally you are only allowed 200 gallons per year, so that would limit the varity. And the fact I would spend all day bottling. Only if I had the time and money.

For some strange reason that is what the U.S. law allows. Now I have no idea how they would track something like that. I've never been polled, but I don't think I make that much. I never understood the limit thing. I know at one time, about the early 1900's people drank something like a gallon of alcohol a day. And early in time it was more then that. But I don't think things like beer and mead where as strong either.

it's probably just to add on time or fines to bootlegers senences, like how breaking and entering is added to home invasion robberies.

their almost never separate crimes but both carry a long sentance
