Re: The big debate

If I can't get a coke I'll have a beer or water, something cold anyway but very rarely Pepsi .. can't remember the last time I picked up a can, but I do remember I regretted it afterwards .. I am not a Pepsi fan .. seems to be something missing from the taste

Re: The big debate

Pepsi for me, diet though. Seems that coke is more carbonated or something. I'll drink it if there's no other option, not that I get around to much pop, usually have a coffee by my side if I'm awake. For that matter, when I'm asleep too.

I don't like either one. If I have a Coke it's either Cherry Coke or mixed with bourbon whiskey.

Neither, although if I'm driving in hot weather, I find 'Old Jamaican' ginger beer refreshing - Otherwise tea or beer (real ale ideally)

Re: The big debate

Coke; I think I've grown very fond of Coke since my mom is obsessed with it's logo and cultural references such as the bear on the ice-sled, which is also like their logo and trademark. So, I always see this stuff so it's such a natural reaction when someone asks what kind of soda I like, "coke!".

Pepsi; Pepsi is good when you don't have anything else as it grows flat very quick and doesn't really taste good - although, Pepsi Jazz is by far their best product, even though it's diet, and I usually don't drink or eat anything diet/sugar free due to it's aspartame content.

Sobe; It's not soda but it's the best, .

Re: The big debate

Wow I am surprised, I would have figured it would have been closer. I guess I should buy some coke stock. BTW, I prefer coke over pepsi, but prefer Barq's Rootbeer over either of them. Coke is also good for an upset stomach, and mixes better with rum/whiskey.

Since Mountain Dew seems to have an unusually high amount of caffeine, I'm guessing if that could be a factor.

Well, here in Canada, all we have is caffeine-free Dew because of a government regulation.
