Mom's cooking:

They say mom's cooking is the best. What did you love your mother to cook for you?

Re: Mom's cooking:

Almost everything. There are a few things I just don't like. For what it's worth my dad is also an excellent cook.

Re: Mom's cooking:

A lot of things that I don't know the names of but are simply great. My dad is a great cook too. I'm aspiring to be one someday, but since I'm only 17 I'll settle for mom's for now.

Re: Mom's cooking:

Re: Mom's cooking:

Anything but liver and onions!! When I was REAL young my grandmother did most of the cooking.... I still remember the roast beef after church on Sundays.

I also remember the breadman and milkman making deliveries as well as the fruit peddler making his rounds in the summer. The smell of Muskmelon was a dead give-away that he was near.

Re: Mom's cooking:

Jambalaya and Texas Sheet Cake are probably my favorites, although she cooks much more than just that, those are just my two favorites.

Re: Mom's cooking:

I would eat with her now no matter what she cooked, if I could.

Re: Mom's cooking:

For our birthday, Mom would cook whatever dish my brothers or I wanted. I always chose her lasagna. So I have to say that is my favorite. And, no she’s not Italian.
