I love FF (mainly because of Gecko[which i see kmeleon is based on]), but i don't like the navbars and toolbars and basically the layout, so a completely programmable/customiseable browser(without having to install a hundred[well 15 so far for me] plugins then killing half the menus) would be brilliant. |

Re: I done it again ya'll!
Damn, I wish I could somehow introduce the world to K-Meleon more since everyone just thinks it's another browser, and it's very good. It's actually the best, but since it lacks ads and hype, it's really unheard of.
It uses it's own scripting language, I get the macros from other sites and slightly tweak them. I do not "know" the language, but it's very simple - so if I see something that doesn't look right, I change and woooolaaa, it's changed and working - tweaked. You're right, it does use the Gecko! You can change the toolbars, icons, appearence, etc all in the options and in various settings with random macros you can find all over the net. If you need anymore questions answered, just ask them. I feel like this changed to a "Why should I install K-Meleon" thread, LOL. PS. Funny thing is you don't have to install it, it also comes in an executable form for easy browser, especially with it's addon called "Loader", which loads the browser before you even click it, so the bootup time for is basically less than a second.
